Narvik University College has a modern and compact campus, a good learning environment and not to mention, easy access to teaching staff. The opportunity of entering a solid research environment is also a great advantage.

The College has good relations with its collaborators within both local and national business communities. Every year the students arrange a Business Community day. Last year more than 80 businesses were represented at the College and the students received good feedback from the business community.

Narvik University College has students from about 20 different countries. A good 10 percent of students have an international background. A large number have come from educational establishments in China and Russia, countries with whom the College has good partnerships.

The College lies fairly central in Narvik, just a few minutes walk from the town centre. Narvik Municipality has approximately 18 600 inhabitants and lies in the northernmost part of Nordland district and is an important hub for both transport and communication. Proximity to the sea and mountains gives you, as a student, a unique possibility for outdoor activities and extreme sports of different kinds. The Alpine skiing facility situated near the centre of town is world-renown.
The culture on offer is extensive, both within and outside of the student milieu.
