Professional opportunities
With a M.Sc. degree in industrial Engineering, you have excellent job opportunities as the study equips you with a comprehensive knowledge set in dealing with technical and managerial challenges in manufacturing industries; i.e. automation, oil and gas, mechanical and electrical, logistics and shipping. Many of our former students are holding managerial positions in public or private companies, and some have continued their education towards a Ph.D. degree at a university or a research institute.

Want to "dig deeper" in the subject areas that you’ve been through during M.Sc. study? We offer Ph.D. study in cooperation with Norwegian University of Science and Technology and Luleå University of Technology.
Key topics
It adds up to a high degree of project-based teaching, which is becoming increasingly important in an era where the focus on ability of innovative teamwork increases. Through the study, students are also strongly encouraged to improve their communication and dissemination capabilities.

To be admitted to the study program a bachelor degree in mechanical, electrical power or electronics is required. Applicants with other backgrounds may be admitted based on a professional evaluation.
